Oscarr winner* Robert Duvall (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) writes, directs and stars in Assassination Tango, a "part gritty crime thriller, part dance-driven romance, part evocative character study" (The Hollywood Reporter) set in Argentina. Duvall plays John J., a hitman sent to Buenos Aires to carry out the assassination of a prominent general who finds himself with time on his hands while waiting for his target to appear. John is drawn to the beautiful Manuela (Luciana Pedraza, Wild Horses), a dancer who introduces him to the art of the tango, a sensual distraction that could prove to be his downfall. Assassination Tango also features Kathy Baker (The Cider House Rules, TV's Picket Fences) and Rubén Blades (The Counselor, Once Upon a Time in Mexico) in supporting performances.
