2CD 48-track set rounding up all of the releases on Decca Records by Lieutenant Pigeon. Featuring, for the first time on CD, the three studio albums they released which are now expensive 70's collectors items. Includes the multi-million selling 1972 smash hit single 'Mouldy Old Dough': It reached No. 1 in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand as well as the Top 10 in Canada and Australia and across most of mainland Europe. The Top 20 follow up 'Desperate Dan' is also featured as are singles like 'I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen' (No. 3 in Australia), 'And The Fun Goes On', 'Oxford Bags' and 'You Are My Heart's Delight'. 'Mouldy Old Dough' has since been adopted as the unofficial anthem of banger racing, played at raceway meetings across the country at the start of the races. It has also been used in New Zealand to promote the National Lottery!Liner notes are provided by long time Pigeon fan, Times journalist, and Record Collector columnist and St. Etienne member Bob Stanley.
